This is a really unique and fun gift. Its pretty versatile for different ages & genders. Def a good buy for the price. Im also really glad it uses as batteries instead of button batteries

I love the music mat. I bought it for my 4 year old granddaughter and my 1 year old also jumped in and loved stepping on the soft keys to make music. I folds easily, which is great. I had previously bought one that did not fold well at all. This one I was able to easily fold back into the box for storage and the box has a handy handle on it so my granddaughter can carry it around and "help" put it away when done playing.Â
