This purchase was a replacement for my original. It never hurts to have spare.

This device is very good when the drone lets it be. Unfortunately when the drone decides to head for home with no warning it becomes inactive apparently. Todays flight ended crashed into trees and wrecked my drone when it decided to end the flight. Headed in the direction of the launch site but lost altitude and hit trees to one side of the direct line home. Wish it could have stayed active and saved my drone. Will have to enquire about possibility of shipping drone back for repairs.

I have not got to use it as of now because of the weather but after it gets nice I will be flying it and send you more reviews thank you customer service was fantastic.

When maneuvering around obstacles, especially when depending on camera for guidance, the warnings provided by the obstacle avoider are very helpful.

My only complaint is that this device is quite difficult to remove as you need to do when packing up.

However it does see the sun if you are flying into it at sun down or sunrise it will stop flying in that direction.

It's a snap on protection around building and then Pop it off when out in the open!

It was awesome! I'm a novice at flying a drone, this helped keep me out of trouble.

I have had my x7 ranger plus for a few months now. And it is Bad A$$. I like it so much I got me an extra one .
