This shirt was purchased for my Dad Cal Belden, an American History teacher in the District 281 high schools. His method of teaching was nowhere near the standard teaching program for History. He would put all necessary notes that the student should have out of this daily classroom instruction. All the student had to do was to write these notes down & then be entertained by an excellent teacher telling the today story of American History. He would bring in historical artifacts from my family’s history (we were transplanted here on the 20th ship past the historic Mayflower Landing! The kids excelled in their learning & he was able to reach those students that wanted to listen & learn about American History. He was the best & is about to celebrate his 95 birthday!

As a retired history teacher, I wish I had these shirts when I was teaching. The kids, if no the math and science department prima donnas, would have hated them.

I got them and wore them the last days of school. Made sure I went by the English teachers to show them what’s up.
